• Online help changed to redirect all online help to docs.backupexec.com instead of vxhelp.veritas.com.

• Hyper-V: Jobs hang intermittently on random VMs.

• Non-English BE console shows the console tabs in English.

• M365: Handling for redirect URL error for Exchange Mailboxes.

• M365: Special handling for internal server error in SyncFolderItem call.

Prerequisites

• This hotfix must be installed over Backup Exec 25.1  Hotfix 648897 (version 25.0.1193.1364).

  • Note: 25.0.1193.1364 is Backup Exec 25.1 + Hotfix 648897.

• Administrative privileges are required to install this On-Demand Patch.

• To confirm your current version of Backup Exec, click on the Backup Exec icon (top left in the Backup Exec console) -> Help and Documentation -> About Backup Exec.

• Managed Backup Exec Servers: To install the hotfix on a Managed Backup Exec Server, ensure it is patched on the Central Administration Server first, and only then apply the patch on the Managed Backup Exec Server.

Post-requisites

• A full backup is recommended after installing this On-Demand Patch.

• Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated.

• Remote Agent for Linux/Unix Servers (RALUS/RAMS) will need to be updated.

• Update Simplified Disaster Recovery Media.

• It is recommended to reboot the system(s) after applying an On-Demand Patch or Feature Pack.

Uninstalling this Update

• This update cannot be uninstalled.
