Important Update

Microsoft has announced a change to its billing policy for these APIs:

Effective August 25, 2025, usage of Microsoft Graph Export APIs for Teams backup will no longer incur charges.

This update means users can continue backing up Teams content, both public and private channel posts, and will not need to incur any additional cost.

Impact on Backup Exec

• Current Behavior: Backup Exec may display warning messages in the user interface regarding potential costs associated with using these APIs.
• Post-August 25, 2025: These warnings can be safely ignored. The backup process will remain fully supported and free of API-related charges.
