Workaround:
After booting from LOR/SRD, go to ‘Analyze’ and select ‘Open Command Shell Window’ to open command prompt and run following commands:

1. Type “diskpart” and press Enter.

2. Type “list volume” and press Enter to see all drives and their partitions.

3. Type “select volume ” and press Enter to select the drive to be assigned a static drive letter. 
Replace with right Volume number in the command. 

4. Type “assign letter=” to change the drive letter. 
Replace the with a desired letter in the command. 

5. Close the command prompt and relaunch ’Explore My Computer’ window to confirm the just mounted drive.

 

This issue is currently under investigation by Arctera. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software. Issue/Introduction

Drive letter for system drive may not be assigned automatically in System Recovery Disk (SRD) /Lights-Out Restore (LOR) environment on Windows Server 2022 and 2025. When Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025 machine is booted from Arctera System Recovery System Recovery Disk (SRD) or with Lights-Out Restore (LOR) then, the System Drive might not have the drive letter assigned automatically. When booting from SRD/LOR, check the drive letter in Arctera System Recovery Disk wizard by launching ‘Analyze’ -> ’Explore My Computer’. The System Drive might not be listed in ‘Recovery Point Browser’ window.
