There was an error matching the Data path, Catalog path, or job log path leading to self-protect job not getting created.
This issue is resolved with Backup Exec 25.0 Hotfix 924991
Workaround:
The Self-Protect job is created by default in Backup Exec 25 but in this case, the job does not get created due to the error mentioned in the cause section.
A backup job protecting the Backup Exec Data, catalogs and Job Logs folder can be created manually.
