The problem is seen when 2 or more volumes are being restored in the same job or restore is performed to a volume where restore_symboltable file exists.

Workaround :

Remove the restore_symboltable file from the volume where the restore is being performed.

OR

If restoring multiple volumes in one restore job, then set exclusion for restore_symboltable in backup Exec job defaults and then perform the restore.

Set the exclusions as below. This can be removed post restoration.
