Cause

This issue may be observed due to excessive IO activity on the Backup Exec Server. 

Resolution

Create the following registry key on the Hyper-V server :

Registry Path : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veritas\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Engine\HyperV Agent 
DWORD : DisableOverlappedIO 
Value : 1 

Restart the remote agent service on the Hyper-V server and re-run the backup job.
