Error Message
Backup Exec X Server and Remote Administration Console are either not supported or the required service packs are not installed on this operation system. Please check Backup Exec Software Compatibility list for more information.
Cause
This may occur if the Compatibility mode is set to Windows 7 for the BkupLnch.exe executable.
Resolution
1. Right-click the BkupLnch.exe executable in File Explorer and click on Properties.
2. Click on the Compatibility tab.
3. Un-check the Run this program in compatibility mode for option.
4. Click OK to save the change.
5. Relaunch Backup Exec console and run the installation wizard.
