Job Log shows the following error:
0xe000fea9 - The Backup Exec data store encountered a problem during the operation
V-79-57344-65193 - The backup selection '\\exch-dag01.domain.com\Microsoft Information Store\Database01' was not successfully processed for Granular Recovery Technology (GRT). The Database Recovery failed with Error 'JET_errDatabaseDirtyShutdown This error is obsolete and has been replaced by JET_errDatabaseDirtyShutdown. '. You will not be able to restore individual items for this backup selection.
Event logs show a backup exec remote agent crash:
Application popup: beremote.exe - Application Error: The instruction at 0x00000000688D66C0 referenced memory at 0x00000000688D66C0. The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc0000185.
Cause
Virtual memory is set to custom.
Resolution
Set virtual memory on the Backup Exec server to system-managed size and the backup will succeed.
Do not select the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives option.
