Error Message

Backup Exec has skipped consolidation for the 'vm name' virtual machine because the last backup available in this solution is a full backup. The consolidate job can run when one or more incremental backup sets are available.

When this issue occurs, the expected log does not appear in the SGMon logs. The following line will be logged at the beginning of the job if processed correctly.

BESERVER: [03/17/24 22:30:01] [9132]     16 JobManager: GenerateSetCopyLatestFullScriptFromCatalog: ForeverIncremental flag is set.

Resolution

Run the Consolidate Full job manually or wait until the next scheduled time.

 

This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas Technologies LLC. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
