Duplicate backup to AWS S3 storage is stuck with job status 'Active: Loading Media - Duplicate'
NOTE: this article was written for a duplicate backup issue but any backup operation would be impacted.
Cause
Versioning and Object lock may be enabled on the bucket. This means data cannot be overwritten or deleted which would prevent normal operation of Backup Exec creating/writing for backup or duplicate storage.
Resolution
Once enabled, Object Lock cannot be disabled in an existing AWS bucket. Create a new bucket for backup storage without enabling versioning or object lock.
