Cause
Due to an issue in UI.
Resolution
This issue is resolved with Backup Exec 24.0 Hotfix 651544 amid Backup Exec 26
Workaround
1. Stop Backup Exec Services
Open Backup Exec Services Manager from Backup Exec icon, Configuration and Settings, and Backup Exec Services.
Click Stop all services button.
2. Run the next command in the command prompt
sqlcmd -E -S .\BKUPEXEC64 -d BEDB -Q "Update Configuration set Value = 0 where Parameter = 'KeepJobHistoryPerExpiredMedia'"
3. Start Backup Exec Services
Click Start all services button in the Backup Exec Services Manager.
Issue/Introduction
Unable to save Keep job history for specified number of days option when another option, Keep job history for data on media that have current overwrite protection periods, is selected once.
