Error Message


There is no error message. The total data size field display data size in bytes storage unit.
 

Cause


Total data size field, which is part of Backup Exec custom reports need to be enhanced inorder for it to display the size in storage units that are easy to understand.
 

Resolution


This is by design for Backup Exec 25 and below.
Note: Custom report was tested for Job History Group category with Resource Name, Job Name, Job Start time, Total Data size field selected. The Total Data size is reported in bytes and does not convert to nearest MegaByte or GigaByte etc. storage units.


This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas Technologies LLC. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software. However, this particular issue is not currently scheduled for any release.  If you feel this issue has a direct business impact for you and your continued use of the product, please contact your Veritas Sales representative or the Veritas Sales group to discuss these concerns.
