Description
Error Message
There is no error message.
Cause
The query to fetch tenant names returns all names in the domain but does not check the isDefault parameter which leads to the addition of a non-default domain name as a M365 tenant in Backup Exec.
Note: This does not cause any problems with Backup and Restore from that tenant.
Resolution
A hotfix is now available for this issue. Backup Exec 22.2 Hotfix 917391
Backup and Restores are not impacted even if the non-default tenant name gets added as M365 tenant in Backup Exec.
Issue/Introduction
Non-default domain name gets added when Microsoft 365 tenant is configured in Backup Exec.
The name picked for M365 Tenant is not the one which is marked as default in Microsoft 365 admin center.
Example: Testapp.mycompany domain got added as M365 tenant rather than the one marked as default.

Backup Exec console picks up the random name and not the one which is set as default
