Cause
A file name for EFI recovery point includes blank. The file name which includes blank space fails to be deleted by the generation management.
Resolution
Workaround:
1. Edit the backup job.
2. On Backup Destinations screen, click "Customize recovery point file names...".
3. Click EFI partition (*:) and press "Rename". Add "_" between "Local" and "Disk" and press "OK".
4. Press "OK", "Next" and "Finish" and finish the "Define Backup Wizard" screen.
A supported hotfix has been made available for this issue. Please contact Veritas Technical Support to obtain this fix. This hotfix has not yet gone through any extensive Q&A testing. Consequently, if you are not adversely affected by this problem and have a satisfactory temporary workaround in place, we recommend that you wait for the public release of this hotfix.
