This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 22.2

Issue/Introduction

Changes done to the Job Log attachment type from Backup Exec settings are not retained. In Backup Exec global settings, under the job log options there is an option available to change the job log attachment type to either text or html. Change done to this setting is not retained.
