Cause

This may occur if an Immutable storage feature or Object Lock is enabled on the Azure Storage Container and the configuration is being tried with Backup Exec 22 and earlier. Backup Exec (BE) 22.1 onward Microsoft Azure object lock is supported.

 

Resolution

Upgrade to Backup Exec 22.1 or later. Then try the configuration of Azure cloud deduplication storage as Backup Exec 22.1 onward Azure Cloud object lock feature is supported.

Note: The object lock feature is supported with the Backup Exec cloud deduplication feature only.
