Error Message

Exception -

Skipping the file because it is checked out.
Error code: 67113885/1005. Cannot backup file with no checked in version" 

The files being backed up should be in a checked in state inorder for backup to occur.
 

Steps to Checkin the files which are being skipped by Backup Exec M365 Backup -

1. Open Microsoft 365 Admin page -> SharePoint -> Document Library Settings -> Click on the “Manage files which have no checked-in version” link under Permissions and Management group.

2. Select files under “Files checked out to others:”
 

3. Click on “Take Ownership of Selection” and confirm this prompt “Are you sure you want to take ownership of file name”. (This makes the file available for the next action.)


4. Go to document library and Check in the file(s). Run the backup again and no files should be skipped.
