Cause

Unconfirmed; under investigation.

 

Resolution

Manually launch the DLO Desktop Agent after the installation\upgrade has completed, using either of the steps below:

  1. Click Start -> Veritas DLO -> Veritas DLO Desktop Agent.
  2. Click \DLOClientu.exe. (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Veritas\Veritas DLO\DLOClientu.exe)

 

There are currently no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in the current or previous versions of the software at the present time. While this issue may be resolved in a future major revision of the software at a later time, it is not currently scheduled for any release.  If you feel this issue has a direct business impact for you and your continued use of the product, please contact your Veritas Sales representative or the Veritas Sales group to discuss these concerns.
 

Issue/Introduction

On Windows 11 machines, after a successful installation \ upgrade of the DLO Desktop Agent, the first auto-launch of the DLO Desktop Agent will fail. Subsequent starts of the Agent are successful. This behavior is not seen on Windows 10 client machines.
