No error message presented. The backup, duplication or restore job with available OST devices is in Queued status, or the job is in Running status but does not complete.
Available OST devices may show as offline status.
This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 23
Workaround:
1. Disable Client-side deduplication.
Open Admin Console > Storage tab > Property of each device being offline.
Disable Client-side deduplication and click Apply.
2. Restart the Backup Exec services and wait about one hour (*1) for access checks to all devices to complete.
*1: Approximate waiting time is the number of offline devices (offline LSU) x 30 minutes.
