Resolution

This issue is fixed in Backup Exec 22.

Workaround:

Adjust the number of VMs in the vCenter folder to less than 500.

Issue/Introduction

When VMware vCenter has over 500 Virtual Machines (VMs) in a folder, the backup selection list does not show all VMs.
The following symptom may occur.
  • The backup selection list shows only a few VMs.
  • The backup selection list shows duplicated VM names.
  • The backup selection list does not complete browsing.
