Description

Error Message

This is a section from Duplicate Job Log. This is where the deduplication percentage can be checked
for the Hyper V Virtual Machine GRT based duplicate job ( to cloud deduplication storage). If no changes or relatively less changes are happening on the virtual machine but deduplication percentage is less during duplicate to cloud then this is the correct technote being referred to. The direct hyper v GRT enabled virtual machine backup to cloud deduplication storage is not impacted.

Deduplication Stats::PDDO Stats (multi-threaded stream used) for (SRVBKUP): scanned: 563425394 KB, CR sent: 460874761 KB, CR sent over FC: 0 KB, dedup: 18.2%, cache disabled, where dedup space saving:1.3%, compression space saving:16.9%
This job ran as a set copy job.

Cause

The duplicate job chunking was not occurring in the manner like direct to cloud dedupe was happening.
