V-79-57344-4629 - The staging location g:\TEMP on the Backup Exec server does not have enough disk space to stage the restore job. The server has 58.2 GB space available, but 76.5 GB space is required to stage this job.

As part of a restore of granular items from backup, for the types of storage device mentioned above, staging the backed up data is required.  Staging during the restore allows Backup Exec to mount and extract the granular items selected for restore.  A prime example is restoring granular items like folders and files from a virtual machine backup.  The restore job would stage the entire VMDK (VMWare) or VHDX (Hyper-V) volume file, mount it, then extract the granular items for restore.  Backup Exec uses the staging location, c:\temp, by default for this operation.

NOTE:  Backup to Disk and Deduplication Disk folders do not have this staging requirement - the resource containing the granular items can be mounted directly from the storage location.

Increase the free space for the staging location to accommodate the size of the resource being restored.  Alternately the staging location can be modified to a volume with more available space on the Backup Exec server.  See the Backup Exec Administrator's Guide in the Configuration and settings section, Granular Recovery Technology page.
