Cause
The Catalog.dat file in C:\ProgramData\Veritas\FileBackup is corrupt or unreadable by the application.
Resolution
- Close Veritas System Recovery console.
- Check if the backup data for "File and Folder" is saved in a Network location.
- If yes, move them to a local storage and try to perform import again. If it still fails, go to the location C:\ProgramData\Veritas\FileBackup.
- Rename Catalog.dat file to Catalog.old and attempt the restore again (this may require the "Tray Application" process to be terminated first in Task Manager)
- Launch Veritas System Recovery console.
- Select Tasks -> Recover My Files.
- Select File -> Import Backup Destination.

- Browse "File Backup Data" folder and click OK.

- Press Search.
