2. The logon Account used for accessing the VCenter/ ESXI Host is incorrect.
3. The VCenter/ESXI Host Logon Account password is not updated on the Backup Exec Console.
4. An account used to backup the Virtual Machines is disabled in Active Directory if a Domain Logon account is being used.
1. Accounts used to backup the Virtual Machines have insufficient rights. Ensure that the user account has the necessary permissions to access the vCenter server or ESX server. Make sure that the account used to backup Virtual Machines has the required permissions as per the article (100062273).
2. The logon Account used for accessing the VCenter/ ESXI Host is incorrect. In Backup Exec, go to Configuration and Settings > Logon Accounts. Confirm the correct Logon Account to access vCenter server or ESX servers is correct and updated. On the Backup/Restore Tab double click the vCenter server or ESX server, click Credentials and confirm the correct Logon Account is being used.
3. VCenter/ESXI Host Logon Account password is not updated on the Backup Exec Console. Navigate to Veritas Backup Exec icon-> Configuration and Settings-> Logon Accounts-> Manage Logon Accounts. Update with the correct username and the password used for the VCenter/ESXI Host Logon Account .
4. Confirm the Logon Account used for vCenter server or ESX server is not locked out if Active Directory if a Domain Account is being used.
