Workaround
Backup Exec 21 - Restart the Backup Exec Deduplication Manager (spad.exe) service if it starts to consume more memory and server performance is impacted.
Cause
The spad.exe memory increases rapidly when pddecfg -a startdatafullcheck is run.
Resolution
This issue has been fixed in the following release:
