This issue is seen with Share Level backup jobs which are set to use "Using Catalogs" backup method. Backup job log reports "Reset Archive bit" instead of "Using Catalogs"
This is a cosmetic issue with the job log and the backup method displayed can be ignored. Backups jobs should complete using the "Using Catalogs" backup method.
This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas Technologies LLC. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software. However, this particular issue is not currently scheduled for any release.
