Issue:

VSR version that existed before the patch upgrade is installed when deploying Veritas System Recovery (VSR) Agent from a system where VSR patch is applied.

Example:
There is a system where VSR 18 SP4 is installed using full installation media. A user upgraded to VSR 18 SP5 using VSR 18 SP5 64 bit or 32 bit patch file.
If VSR Agent is deployed to another system from the system, the VSR Agent is installed as VSR 18 SP4 that is a version of the full install media.

Solution

Please update to the VSR Agent using a 64 bit or 32 bit patch file after deploying the VSR Agent.
