Network problem during backup to cloud deduplication storage
1. Disable Disk Storage Lockdown Setting from Backup Exec -> Configuration and Settings -> Backup Exec settings -> Network and Security
2. Open and Edit
3. Change the UploadConnNum in the file and set the value to an appropriate value after testing as per the note below. The Default value set is 60.
This setting signifies the number of parallel uploads.
4. After saving the file, restart all BE and Deduplication services
5. Enable Disk Storage Lockdown Setting from Backup Exec -> Configuration and Settings -> Backup Exec settings -> Network and Security
6. Test the Backup again and check if it succeeds. If it does not work, then lower the value further and test with that.
Note: If Value 60 does not work, then test with 30. If 30 does not work, then try with 15, 7, 5, 2 if the larger values do not work . If 30 works, then test with 45, 50, 55 etc. depending on if the larger value works. In some environments setting the value to 2 or 8 have worked so every environment may need some tuning as far as this value is concerned.
