Cause
This issue is seen with Backup Exec 2012 and above versions. It will be seen when the duplicate job is set to run 'according to schedule' and the Encryption setting is not enabled for the duplicate stage.
Resolution
Ensure the Encryption setting is enabled even for the duplicate stage and specify the same encryption key as the source backup stage.
Note:
A duplicate backup will be an identical copy of the source backup set. If the source set is encrypted, the duplicate set will always get created with same encryption key as the source backup set.
