Error: check ['dependencies']

Cause

This occurs because the RALUS agent uses a custom packager, not the packager that YUM relies on.  So while dependency errors may be displayed with the RALUS agent, as long as the agent is functional and backups can be performed, the RALUS agent is fully installed.

Resolution

In this case, with functionality of the RALUS agent demonstrated with successful backup, the YUM dependency errors for RALUS may be safely ignored.

Issue/Introduction

Once a successful installation of the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Linux and UNIX Servers (RALUS) is complete, running the Yellowdog Updater, Modified (YUM) package management tool may show that the RALUS agent is missing dependencies.
