Alerts are generated in Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO) when events occur that require Administrator attention, such as in response to a problem or to advise the status of DLO jobs.
Active Alerts can be viewed in the Alerts tab of the Administration Console and when manually acknowledged, it will be moved to the Alert History tab. Alert History records will remain there until manually removed; there is no way to automatically respond to Active alerts or to automatically delete Alerts from the DLO Console. If Alerts are manually deleted from the console, they are permanently removed from DLO.
The DLODBUtils Command Line utility, in the DLO installation path, provides a switch (-groomalerts # ) that allows you to manage alerts, based on the number of days you specify;

If you then check in the DLO Administration Console - Alerts tab, Active Alerts that were Received earlier than the specified number of days, will have moved to Alert History, with a Responded date of today and any Alert History records Responded earlier than the specified number of days, will have been removed.
