To specify multiple directories; please use between the different directories you want to backup or exclude.

Example:
To include or exclude the following directories:
/DIRECTORY1
/DIRECTORY2
/DIRECTORY3

The syntax is:
/DIRECTORY1/DIRECTORY2/DIRECTORY3
/DIRECTORY1 /DIRECTORY2 /DIRECTORY3
