Error Message

None. The Backup Exec GRT restore job completes successfully

 

Workaround

In earlier versions of Backup Exec, change the column name and\or order back to how it was before the restore.

 

 

Resolution

There are no plans to address this issue by way of a patch or hotfix in earlier versions of the software at the present time.  However, the issue has been addressed in the revision of the product specified at the end of this article.

This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 22.1.

 

Issue/Introduction

If a Sharepoint List has column names and\or the view order of the columns changed after original creation, following a GRT restore of that list, the column names and order are reverted back to the original layout.
