Error Message

Restore job will complete and not report any error but PDB database will be missing on completion of restore.

This issue is caused due to an Oracle Defect - Bug 27966859

This issue will not be seen if the PDB database is in SHARED_UNDO_MODE with auxiliary path defined.

Solution

Workaround:-

PIT restore of dropped pluggable database will work with SHARED_UNDO_MODE and auxiliary path configured.

For databases which are already in LOCAL_UNDO_MODE please check the below Oracle SR or contact Oracle Support team for alternate options to restore the database.
