Cause

Due to internal library changes in the the DLO 9.4 release, a required .DLL file now has a different name from what is expected by the DLOCluster Configuration Utility, causing the failure.

 

Resolution

  • Go to the folder where DLO has been installed ( by default  C:\Program Files\Veritas\Veritas DLO )
  • Find the file named  ResDll.dll  and rename that to be  IfResDll.dll
  • Repeat the above steps on all cluster nodes
  • Rerun the DLO Cluster Configuration Utility, which will now open correctly.

This is resolved in the DLO 9.5 release.

The DLO Cluster Configuration Utility (DLOclusconfig) will not run after installing or upgrading to DLO 9.4, displaying the error below.
