Final error category: Security Errors

Backup- \\server\Utility PartitionV-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Directory \\server\Utility Partition\Utility Partition On Disk 1\ was not found, or could not be accessed.
None of the files or subdirectories contained within will be backed up.

 

 

 

 

Cause

 

Under Investigation:

 

Backup Exec Remote Agent Debug Log:

[fsys\shared]        - Attach to \\server\
[ndmp]               | Performing traditional back up
[fsys\upfs]          - OpenPhysicalDrive: Could not open handle to \\.\PhysicalDrive1. Error: 32
[ndmp\loops]         - LP_ENV::MsgError: error 0xe0008488 processing object Utility Partition On Disk 1
[server]             | ERROR: recieved TBE messasge: 0xE0008488 while processing backup set: '\\server\' (00000000083C0F00)

 

Resolution

 

 

This issue is currently under investigation by Veritas Technologies LLC. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
