Error Message
None. Emails are just not received.
Cause
When 'Encryption' is enabled, all addresses, except the final email address, are being combined into one entry. That is seen as invalid, resulting in only the final recipient receiving a valid email.
Resolution
This is resolved in the VSR 21.3 release.
Issue/Introduction
If SMTP 'Encryption' is used and multiple email recipients are defined in the 'To address:' field of Veritas System Recovery SMTP Email options, only the last email address will receive the email.
If SMTP is configured to use the 'Authentication' option, this issue will not occur and emails will be sent to all recipients, but communications will be less secure.
