Wasabi Cloud Storage shows Offline state in storage tab.

Cause

Certificate file for Wasabi cloud storage is expired.

Resolution

  1. Wasabi Knowledge Base article : SSL Certificate Expirations on 30 May 2020 affecting customer operations
  2. Open the file Path C:\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\
  3. Replace the file cacert.pem with the updated file.(Please download the updated cacert.pem using the link https://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem)
  4. Restart all Backup Exec service.

 

Issue/Introduction

Wasabi Cloud Storage reports Offline in Backup Exec console under Storage tab.
