DLO Clients are not adhering to the Backup Throttling settings that have been set in the Profile.

Cause

If a user has Backup Acceleration Enabled backups that are run for that user will not be throttled.

 

Resolution

To resolve this click on Users under Settings.  Right click on the User Name -> Disable -> Disable Backup Acceleration.

 

 

Backups for this user will not adhere to the Throttling settings in the Profile that the user is in.

 

Issue/Introduction

Users backups are using a lot bandwidth even when Backup Throttling has been enabled in the Profile.
