Veritas System Recovery Management Solution 18 or 21 uses Symantec Management Platform (SMP) 8.5 for managing clients and backup policies (For more details click How Veritas System Recovery 18 Management Solution works). SMP 8.5 server installation is not support on Windows Server 2019.

Windows Server 2019 can be backed up and managed as agent/client using Veritas System Recovery Management Solution 18 or 21.
For backing up Windows Server 2019 install following components on Windows Server 2019 from Veritas System Recovery Management Solution 18 Service Pack 3 or later.

3. Veritas System Recovery
