V-79-40960-39721 : 0xa0009b29 - Backup Exec is unable to create a backup-to-disk folder on the disk storage device. See the Job Log for details.
This issue occurs if the volume on which Backup to Disk storage or Deduplication disk storage being configured is formatted using 'Allocation unit size' (Block size) of 1MB.
Note: With Windows Server 2019, it is now possible to create NTFS block sizes above 64K and so one can now choose Allocation unit size to be 128K, 256K, 512K, 1M, or 2MB.
Unable to create Disk-based storage in Backup Exec as the configuration job shows 'Active: Running - Configuring Virtual disk' and does not complete when attempting to create Backup-To-Disk storage. When creating Deduplication disk storage the wizard will get stuck on 'Validating path' for land extended period of time. The Backup Exec console eventually reports an Communication error with the server timed out on the call 'QueryDiskStoragePathStatus'.
