Backup Exec now uses a newer version of deduplication storage format. When you upgrade from an earlier version of Backup Exec to the latest version of Backup Exec, the storage is converted to the latest deduplication format if the earlier version of Backup Exec has a deduplication storage folder configured.

This alert provides the status of conversion of Deduplication Storage.

Previous progress % displays the online conversion progress recorded when the previous alert was generated.

Current progress % displays the online conversion progress recorded when the current alert was generated.

This alert is informational and provides the progress of Deduplication Storage conversion. No action is needed as storage remains online during this online conversion process :

Upon completion of online conversion following alert is displayed : 

NOTE: If there is no movement in conversion percentage for several hours, restart all Backup Exec services including Deduplication services. Conversion will automatically resume after service restart.
