Upgrade path: Backup Exec 16 -> Backup Exec 21.0
Backup Exec 16 had one tape library configured with two tape drives using Veritas Tape Library Simulator Utility.
After upgrade to Backup Exec 21.0, the storage tab shows two instances of a tape library. Drives for one library shows offline.
Resolution
1. Delete the tape library which is showing offline.
2. Run "Inventory and Catalog" on the Virtual Tape Library that is online and created using MKTLS.
Note: This Issue will only be seen if Remote Media Agent for Linux (RMAL) is in use and Virtual Tape Library was created using the MKTLS feature.
