In an upcoming release in early 2020, Microsoft will provide a Windows update that by default will change the LDAP channel binding and LDAP signing to more secure configurations.

Veritas has already completed the testing for Active Directory / Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services for LDAP. As the results, Backup Exec will not be impact when LDAP secure channels is enabled by Microsoft.
