Cause
This is a known issue affecting VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit 6.0, 6.5 and 6.7 as per VMware KB article 2151091
Resolution
To work around this issue, remove SATA controller from proxy virtual machine (Backup Exec Virtual Machine) while using HotAdd mode.
