Cause

The SQL MSOLEDBSQL driver is missing on the SQL server or has not been installed.

Resolution

  • Download and Extract DLO installation media.

Copy "msoledbsql_18.1.0.0_x64.msi" or "msoledbsql_18.1.0.0_x86.msi" from the msoledb folder to the SQL server, run the setup matching the bitness of SQL installation (x86 or x64)

  • Install MSOLEDBSQL driver.
  • Restart the "Veritas DLO Administration" service.
  • Re-launch the DLO console and you will now be able to see the restore selection.
