Description

When you remove a managed Backup Exec server from the Central Administration Server user interface, an additional warning is displayed. If there are some disk storage devices hosted on another media server and shared with the media server being removed, this warning is displayed.

It is recommended to stop sharing any disk storage with a managed Backup Exec server before it is removed from Central Administration Server. If the sharing continues, the backup jobs targeted to the shared device may never complete.
