Resolution

Install the English Language Pack on Media server and Hyper-V host and reboot it.

Issue/Introduction

Virtual Machines are not visible in backup job selection of Backup Exec, if Hyper-V host is configured with Non-English Locale. In environments with any other languages than Backup Exec supported Languages given below, backup job selection may not show Virtual Machines under the Microsoft Hyper-V option. Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.
