The 0x80004005 error typically indicates a permissions issue. 

Review the permissions of the account being used for the job to ensure that they are sufficient to perform the backup/restore operation.  This may involve rights to an application if one of the Backup Exec Applications and Databases agents is involved.  These can include Sharepoint, Exchange, or SQL or possibly others.
