“The ‘Microsoft VHD’ conversion process couldn't be completed”
Same error in event log:
“The specified file is encrypted and the user does not have the ability to decrypt it”.
Cause
Veritas System Recovery tray icon error message and event log errors are incorrectly displayed.
CREATE_AMI_IN_AWS PowerShell script during VHD conversion identifies that the recovery point is encrypted after the error notification and then prompts for the password to decrypt the recovery point and proceeds with VHD conversion.
Resolution
As the Veritas System Recovery tray icon error and event log errors are incorrect, you can ignore this error.
